On March 19th, the following students from EHCS participated in a music festival at the University of West Florida:
- Katlyn Graves (4th grade)
- Lela Hammock (8th grade)
- Teya Lonquist (8th grade)
- Riana Lonquist (10th grade)
They performed selections on the piano in the annual Pensacola Music Teacher Association Sonata Contest. They were required to memorize and perform of music chosen for their division. Their final scores were based on areas such as technique, musicality, and overall performance. Congratulations to these four young ladies, and especially to Katlyn, who placed 1st in her division!
